Press Release - The City of Gillette is pleased to announce that Gillette Avenue is open to through traffic from 1st Street to 7th Street. The Elks Benefit Breakfast will be held on November 2nd from 9 a.m. to noon at the Elks Lodge. The Elks Lodge is 4054 Boxelder Road. The event will benefit the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 7756’s veteran and scholarship programs. The main focus will be the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets for the veterans and their families.

Ebola has been on a lot of our minds as of late, but the good news is simply this, it has not reached Northeastern Wyoming yet, and at this time, it appears the chances of the virus coming to our area are still very low. On Wednesday the 29th, Big Horn Mountain Radio Network hosted a debate between Mayor Candidate Mike Johnson and current Mayor up for re-election Randy Dyess with Station Manager Mark Bentley.  The two were questioned by Big Horn Mountain Radio Networks own Justin Wolffing and Buffalo Bulletin Reporter Andy Kerstetter.

Just before three o'clock Wednesday afternoon a grass fire was reported on mile marker 284 just south of Buffalo on I-25. The fire was caused when a pick-up truck heading north on I-25 lost a u-joint which tumbled into the grass and caused the ignition. Eleven fire fighters from the Buffalo Volunteer Fire Department responded to the call.

Sandi Juetten resigned from her duties as the Mayor of Ten Sleep during a special meeting held on Thursday, October 23 because of a personnel issue involving not being able to gain access to Town Hall files and also trying to put together an e-mail list.
