A fatal head-on collision on Highway 59 in Campbell County has resulted in the arrest of a North Dakota man. The crash happened September 20th, about 7:09 pm near mile marker 89.

Campbell County Undersheriff Scott Matheny said 26-year-old Robert D. Reese of Minot, North Dakota has been arrested as a suspect for felony aggravated vehicular homicide.

The first significant snow storm of well, the late summer early fall arrived this morning, and with it came school delays and power outages across northern Wyoming. Most of the delays seemed to be concentrated on the heavier hit areas, Story and Buffalo in particular. Power was out in Story for at least several hours, and continued to be sporadic across Buffalo, enough though to close the town's schools for the day. Parts of northern Sheridan County were dark as well. To blame were tree limbs that couldn't bear the weight of the heavy snow. So was it as bad as we had predicted? Earlier this morning, a tanker truck hauling 5,500 gallons of latex crashed and rolled at mile-marker 71 on US14A, which is approximately 25 miles east of Lovell. 59-year-old Dennis Spurbeck of New Philadelphia, Ohio, was reported to be negotiating a curved section on the highway, which has a 10% downgrade.
