Press Release - A fatal crash on May 2nd claimed the life of 33 year old Ashley R. Peterson of Ranchester, Wyoming. The crash occurred at 8:52 p.m. on Interstate 90 near mile post 32 approximately eight miles east of Sheridan.  
Peterson was driving a 2001 Daewoo passenger car eastbound on I 90 when the vehicle drifted off the right side of the road. The Daewoo was overcorrected

Press Release - A Wyoming State Trooper conducted a traffic stop Friday morning (5-1-15) at 9:55 a.m. at mile post 93 on Interstate 80 westbound on a 2002 Saturn passenger car for speeding 103 mph in a 75 mph zone. The stop was approximately three miles east of Green River, Wyoming.

Registration is open for the Gillette College Booster Club’s first annual Golf Scramble, Saturday, May 16.

The 18-hole tournament, sponsored by the Nick Carter Law Firm, will have a shotgun start at 9 a.m. at Bell Nob Golf Course. The entry fee is $125 per individual or $500 for a team of four. Proceeds go to the Gillette College Booster Club, supporting Pronghorn

At about 12:30 today the Special Olympics athletes and their law enforcement partners passed the torch enroute to Laramie for the Special Olympics which begins Thursday. The three teams converged at the Bozeman Trail Steakhouse in Buffalo to pass the torch on to Buffalo. From there, it will go to Casper where another run to Wheatland will take place beginning tomorrow morning. Read more

The Wyoming Highway Patrol, via their weekend media releases, indicates that a fatal accident occurred south of Sheridan near mile marker 31 Saturday evening. The accident, according to the Highway Patrol happened at 8:52 pm.
The vehicle involved was eastbound (south) on I-90 when it drifted off the right side of the roadway. Read more

A grass fire took place a few miles south of Worland on a field behind Vega Brothers on Wednesday night, April 29. According to Worland Fire Captain Brandon Yule, he along with other members of the WFD were paged to the scene just before 5:30pm and stayed on site to extinguish the blaze until almost 8pm.
