Gideon Defensive Solutions, a Gillette based company, will be hosting classes for "The Introduction to the Defensive Handgun" on August 1st and 29th at the Gillette Gun Club. These classes are designed to be an introduction to the handgun for defensive applications and are well suited for those with little to no experience in the use of the handgun.

Bridge repairs are continuing on the Big Wind River bridge at the south edge of Riverton.
 
According to WYDOT Resident Engineer Kaia Tharp in Thermopolis, a silica fume concrete pour is scheduled to begin on Monday night, July 27 at 10pm on the west half of the Big Wind River bridge, weather permitting.
