Jen grew up in a town of 700 people in southern Nebraska.  Her parents came home from a party one night while Jen was in high school and declared they were going to form the "udder bunch" with a group of friends and begin dressing like cows.  It's a glorious background Jen comes from!

She started her radio career in Lincoln after graduating from the University of Nebraska.  Soon after she moved to Austin, Texas where she continued to work in radio, and even formed a band and released a CD.  These days she's in bed by 9 and could never stay up late enough to perform with a band.

She's been heard on the air across the country, from Farmington to Boise to Dallas.  When asked for her favorite thing about radio she gives a simple answer:  "I just love to tell stories and connect with those who hear them."  That, and the free food in the break room is nice. 

Favorite TV show:  Modern Family (and anything on Food Network)

Favorite sport to watch:  Football!  (Colts and Huskers!)

Favorite food:  Cheddar cheese

Favorite beverage:  Coffee

Ideal weekend:  No plans with lots of time to cook fun, fattening food

Not fond of:  Fireworks

Birthday:  September 17th

Favorite celebrity:  Meryl Streep

Family:  A spouse, two daughters, and three miniature schnauzers
