Three Gillette College students placed in the top 15 at the recent SkillsUSA national championships in Louisville, Kentucky.
The SkillsUSA Championships took place June 24-25, as part of the SkillsUSA 51st annual National Leadership and Skills Conference, a showcase of career and technical education students.

June 30th, 2015 - Emergency responders in Gillette were dispatched to 4th Avenue, after a 29-year-old male sustained serious injuries in a 4-wheeler accident. Corporal Becky Elger said the vehicle struck a curb about 9:10 pm and rolled. The male was unresponsive and sustained substantial head, leg, and arm injuries. He was later life-flighted to Casper.

At the request of the Campbell County Sheriff's Office, the Wyoming Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal incident that occurred on June 29th around 9:30 p.m. on Fairview Road approximately five miles southeast of Gillette, Wyoming.

 A plea deal has been reached in the case of a woman charged with killing three people after she drove a bus through a construction zone. The plea agreement was entered yesterday.

Gillette College officials will host a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Education and Activity Center on Monday, June 29, at 4 p.m.

The kickoff for Wright Days 2015 will be a movie in the park on Thursday, June 25th, at 8:45 at Gibson Park. Friday, Saturday and Sunday are also packed with events.

Friday’s activities include 3 on 3 Basketball, a Pageant, a 3-D Archery. Friday evening events will include Demolition Derby and a Street Dance for the whole family as well as other events.

Crime Stoppers needs your help in solving a destruction of property that occurred at Buffalo Ridge Elementary between 1700 hours on 06-12-15 and 0800 hours on 06-15-15.
