Fur Kids Foundation Hosts Pet-A-Palooza on September 14

News-genericOn September 14, the Fur Kids Foundation hosts Pet-A-Palooza at CAM-PLEX Park, Shelter No. 5 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. The event is sponsored by Cloud Peak Energy, announced by Masters of Ceremony, and supported by the following: Alignment Pros Tire Factory; Animal Medical Center of Wyoming; Annabelle’s Cookies; Dink's Doggie Treats, LLC; First Interstate Bank; Flightline; HealthSource of Gillette; The Home Depot; Darren & Kim Lynde Family; Petco; Photo Imaging Center Gillette; Security State Bank; Sol Domus; Thunder Basin Veterinary Clinic PC; and White's Frontier Motors.

Activities and Contests: Mutt Strut Dog Walk and Rescue Dog Show featuring dogs from the Take Me Home Corner; Best Pet Trick Contest and Pet Fashion Show


Demonstrations: pet agility demonstrations by Michelle Miller; dog training demonstrations by Sit Means Sit Central Wyoming Dog Training and Tracy Miller Dog Training/Billabong Border Collies; and pain management for your pet discussion with Thunder Basin Veterinary Clinic PC


Give Back: Pet Supply Drive for the rescues in the Take Me Home Corner—items requested include bedding, collars and leashes, food, litter, toys, treats, and towels


Plus: plus a Dog Kissing Booth, Healthy Pet Trivia Contests, Kids Corner, Silent Auction with goodies from more than 30 businesses and individuals, Take Me Home Corner featuring adoptable dogs from five regional pet rescues, more than 20 vendors featuring animal organizations, arts and crafts, dog treats, pet products and services, supplements and skincare products, and more
