Basin Radio Network and Bighorn Mountain Radio Network of Northeast Wyoming is growing and with that growth comes new opportunities for a Director of Sales for our Gillette/Buffalo/Sheridan radio stations.
We’re looking for a leader who will be responsible for day to day station sales operations and achieving revenue goals of our two markets.
We’re looking for someone who can lead our cluster’s sales department inclusive of among other things, managing inventory, pricing, recruiting and hiring staff and maintaining a very high degree of market visibility.
This is a hands-on leadership role with a great deal of emphasis on being engaged and active with our Account Executives in front of clients and not in the office.
You’ll report to the Market Manager for the market and work together to grow the revenue of this important group of stations for our company.
There will be a lot of other duties as assigned or initiated by you and a valid state driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle is required because we cover a lot of ground with these stations.
Ideally we’re looking for an individual with 10 + years of General Sales or Local Sales Management experience in today’s Radio environment. A verifiable track record of creating new ideas, working strategically with other members of a team, and generating revenues is required for all to be considered.
