Pine Bluffs, Wyo.-- The Wright Panthers (0-8) could not stop the running game of the Burns Broncs (2-6) on Friday night. The final was 34-8 from Pine Bluffs.
WRIGHT, Wyo.-- The Wright Panthers (0-7) were on the verge of their first win of the season. However, Brenden Lloyd-the quarter back for the Pinedale Wranglers- kept a fourth and 21 play alive to help his team eventually win 30-28 on Friday night.

WRIGHT, Wyo.-- The Wheatland Bulldogs (5-1) shut out the Wright Panthers (0-6) Friday night by a score of 61-0.

It was the third game in a row that Wheatland didn't allow its opponent to score. Wright was able to force a fumble that it recovered, one turnover on downs and a punt. Wheatland's first place defense in the 2A didn't allow Wright to get in the red zone.

NEWCASTLE, Wyo.-- The young Wright Panthers are still in search of their first victory of the season after falling to Newcastle, 50-7, on Friday night.

The running game and motion offense was too much for the defense in the first half. The Dogies had a 37-0 lead at halftime. in the second half, the Panthers got on the scoreboard o n a 19-yard run by Sean Moldenhauer.
