Pronghorn men handle S.D. School of Mines JV

GILLETTE, Wyo.--For the second time this season, the Gillette College Pronghorns (12-2, 2-0) defeated the South Dakota School of Mines JV team. This time, it was a 112-70 final from the South Campus on Monday night.

Six Pronghorns finished with double figures with Steven Daho-Mondzo and Rickey Suggs giving impressive performances off the bench. Daho-Mondzo had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds, while Rickey came off the bench to have the game-high 21 points.

Gillette College went six for nine beyond the arc in the first half, part of a total field goal percentage of 64.7 percent. Mines only made 37.5 percent of its field goals and went three for sixteen on three-pointers in the first half.

Gillette College was on top at halftime with a respectable 58-35 lead.

In the second half, the Pronghorns held Mines to 35 points, as well. Gillette College led by as many as 47 points in the second half.

Every Pronghorn player that was active saw playing time, with each one seeing at least eight minutes on the floor.

The Gillette College men will play the ABCD Academy on the 13th and 15th with the first game to tip at 5pm and the second at 3pm. Both games will be played at the South Campus.
