Bonham named NJCAA D-I Player of the Week

GILLETTE, Wyo.--Lorenzo Bonham, a freshman guard from Inkster, Mich., has been named the National Junior College Athletic Association's (NJCAA) Division-I mens basketball player of the week.

Bonham averaged 24.2 points and six rebounds per game against Northwest College last Wednesday, and Sheridan College last Saturday. The Pronghorns (12-2) won both of those games.  Bonham averages 14.4 points a game on the season.

The mens team will host two games against the ABCD Academy, a prep school from Des Moines, Ia., on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday's game is at 7:30pm and Sunday's game is at 3pm; both will be at the South Campus. Admission for these two games are free coutesy of D.A. Eldridge, Inc. and there will be movie and dinner giveaways. These will be the last games before the holiday break for Gillette College.
