Six Pronghorns score double-digits in 16th straight win

ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo.--The (22) Pronghorn men (17-2, 6-0) spread the wealth on the scoreboard Wednesday night against Western Wyoming Community College. Six pronghorns finished with double figures in the team's 16th win in a row and 88-78 victory over the home team.

Gillette College led for a majority of the game.

Muhammad Ahmed took care of business inside, as he went eight for 10 with deuces and two for four at the line. Ahmed led the Pronghorns with 18 points. Renard Suggs led Gillette College outside the arc, going four for seven in three-point land and four for four at the line finishing with 16 points.

The Pronghorns started the second half with a 43-30 lead and went up to their largest advantage in the game at 62-40.

Gillette College shot an impressive 19 for 26 from the charity stripe in the game. Five of the six players that had a chance at the line made at least 50 percent of their shots.

The Pronghorns will be back at the South Campus on Wednesday night (Jan. 22) to play Little Big Horn College. Tip off is set for 7:30pm.
