Camel Football Promotes Oct. 4 As Black Out Cancer Game

The Camel Football team is promoting the Oct. 4th game against Sheridan as a "Black Out Cancer" Game.

They are asking fans to wear a black shirt with a pink ribbon on it to support Breast Cancer Awareness month. T-shirts will be on sale at this Fridays game against Cheyenne South. The shirts are $15. T-shirts may also be purchased at the High School Activities office. Proceeds from the sale of the shirts will be donated to a local cancer charity.

Speaking of Cheyenne South, they come into tomorrow's game looking for the first win in the history of their program.  The Camels, meanwhile, are coming off a big overtime win, last week, against Natrona County. Gillette Coach Vic Wilkerson says they'll try not to have a letdown against the Bison.

That's Cheyenne South head coach Tracy Pugh, whose team fell to Kelly Walsh, last week, 19-10.

You can hear tomorrow's game on 97.3 Camel FM and, with pregame coverage starting at 6:45.
