Camels three-pointers too much for Mustangs

GILLETTE, Wyo.--The Camels (9-2) had no problem getting their ninth win on the season against the Natrona County Mustangs (3-8) on Friday night. Gillette was able to find success with three-pointers, as Cody Kelley and Cale Miessler each had five in the game. The final was 80-50 at the Castle of Champions.

Kelley finished with 27 points and Miessler with 15-all beyond the arc. Everyone that dressed for the Camels had ample playing time, with all but Brandon Koch contributing on the scoreboard.

The Camels, who led 42-26 at halftime, played strong defense against the Mustangs. Kelley set the mark with steals, as he set the record for most steals by a Camel in his career. Only Peter Bergman finished with double digits at 10 points.

The Camels will play Rapid City Central, in Rapid City, on Friday at 7:30pm. You can hear the game on 97.3 KAML-FM and online at
