Camel Swimmers Go 2-1 in Triple Dual

The Gillette boys swim team hosted a Triple Dual Invitational, last weekend.

They beat Cheyenne Central, 95-91, on Friday.  First place finishers for the Camels include Noah Beaver, in the 200 yard individual medley; David Bowersox, in the 50 yard freestyle and 100 yard breaststroke; and Alex Carson in the 1 meter dive.

The Camels fell to Laramie, 95-91, on Saturday morning.  Conner Baldacci took first in the boys' 200 yard individual medley; Bowersox was first in the 100 yard freestyle; Tyler Klamm placed first in the 1 meter dive; the 200 yard freestyle relay team of Beaver, Baldacci, Bowersox, and Andrew Apodaca also placed first.

On Saturday afternoon, Gillette beat Cheyenne East, 98-83.  The 200 yard medley team of Bowersox, Beaver, Trevor Morton, and Taylor Knotterus placed first; as did Bowersox in the 50 yard freestyle.

The Camels have a home meet against Buffalo, Douglas, and Newcastle on Thursday at 5 p.m.
