Top-Ranked Sheridan Pulls Away From Lady Camels

The top-ranked Sheridan Girls basketball team outscored the Gillette Lady Camels by ten in the second half, Friday night, to turn a 28-28 halftime tie into a 55-45 win.

Sheridan improved to 16-1, while Gillette fell to 12-6.

Gillette’s Julia Seamans was the game’s high scorer with 20 points. She scored eight of the Lady Camels’ 10 points in the third quarter. Jessie Geer was the other Lady Camel in double figures with 13.

Robbi Ryan led a balanced Sheridan attack with 14 points.

Gillette will be home, next weekend, with games against Laramie and Cheyenne South, on Friday night and Saturday afternoon, respectively.
