Lady Camels run away from Laramie

GILLETTE, Wyo.--A win for the Lady Camels (13-6, 5-1) was never in doubt against the Laramie Lady Plainsmen (8-11, 1-5) on Friday night at the North Campus. Gillette was victorious with a 72-30 final.

Gillette scored more three-pointers than Laramie had points in the game. Gillette finished with 33 points beyond the arc. Six triples were in the first half, five in the second. Six players had at least one trey in the game.

Gillette had a 23-10 lead after the first quarter and took a 37-20 lead into the locker room. Laramie didn't make a field goal in the the fourth quarter. The Lady Plainsmen Only had two free throws in the fourth quarter and the first was made with 51 seconds left in the game.

Birthday girl Julia Seamans led Gillette with 20 points.

Savannah Cox led Laramie with 8 points in the contest.
