Governor And Others Support DARE Grads

Some special graduations took place this week in Gillette College’s presentation hall. Campbell County’s DARE officers presented diplomas to several graduates of the DARE program. The hour long ceremonies contained music, a lot of laughs, and a video congratulations from Governor Matt Mead.

School board trustee and parent Lisa Durgin said the DARE program is a very important part of the Campbell Country School District.She added the DARE officers do a fantastic job implementing it.

"I think it makes a huge impact on kids. I have a son older than the one who graduated today. He has seen continued benifits from the program."---Durgin


Durgen added she looks forward to continuing to see the positive impacts on the children.
