The Gillette Roughriders improved their overall record to 29-13, last night, with a pair of wins over Spearfish Post 164.
In the first game, Gillette got two hits from Alex King, en route to a 5-1 win.
Tanner Rogen struck out four batters, as he got the win on the mound. Hunter Sylte got the save, as he registered two strike outs in the top of the seventh.
In the second game, King was 3-for-4 with a triple and three RBIs. Josh Hughes was 4 for 4 with a double and two RBIs. Drayson Hladky was 3 for 3 with two RBIs, as the Riders trounced Spearfish, 12-3.
Zach Donahoo was the winning pitcher. Mason Bonar got the save, as he struck out four batters and gave up no hits in the final three innings.
Gillette will compete in the Billings Tournament, this weekend, in Billings, Montana.
