10th annual Big Horn Mountain Festival tickets now on sale

Buffalo, Wyoming – Advance tickets are now on sale for the July 11, 12 and 13, Big Horn Mountain Festival.  Advance special ticket price of $75 for the entire three-day festival is a savings of ten dollars over the gate price.  Plan to attend the festival at the Johnson County Fairground in Buffalo, WY.
 
"We are excited to offer another outstanding lineup of Bluegrass, Old Time, Folk, and Americana music  for our 10th Anniversary. We are very proud that we have been able to attract great music for great people for 10 years. The 2014 and advance tickets are on sale now," said Paul Jarvis, one of the organizers of the event. "Advance tickets are great way to save money and to see a great lineup.”
 
Tickets for the festival can be obtained at Buffalo Chamber of Commerce, and The Sports Lure in Buffalo, The WYO Theater in Sheridan, Haggerty's Musicworks in Gillette; and Hansen Music in Billings, or on-line at  www.bighornmountainfestival.com.
 
“We are proud of our ability to continue to present great performers at the Big Horn Mountain Festival in Buffalo,” said Jarvis.  The 2014 Big Horn Mountain Festival will feature the Foghorn Stringband, Houston Jones, the Blue Canyon Boys, the Barefoot Movement, the Jalan Crossland Band, Melody Walker and Jacob Groopman, the Jeff Troxel Trio, Horseshoes and Hand Grenades, Betse Ellis and Kasey Rausch and more. The festival also features workshops, contests, demonstrations, and instrument raffles. Food, refreshment, arts and crafts vendors are also featured. 
 
The Big Horn Mountain Festival will begin early Friday afternoon, July 11, and run until late Sunday afternoon, July 13.  In addition to the outstanding band performances, festival participants can attend several of the performer's workshops.
 
The festival will also host Wyoming's Mandolin and Banjo State Championships as well as fiddle and guitar contests.  A Band Scramble contest will highlight pickers who want to compete in a fun and lively band contest. 
 
The festival has once again partnered with the Johnson County Arts and Humanities Council to present Bluegrass Camps for Kids, music instruction for kids that takes place for four days leading up to the festival.
