Buffalo Municipal Watershed Proposed Project

Press Release – The Bighorn National Forest will host a public meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at the Johnson County Fire Hall located at 79 Volunteer Lane in Buffalo, Wyo.

The purpose of the meeting is to gather public input on a proposed project to maintain and enhance long-term water quality in the Buffalo municipal watershed. The Forest Service will describe the conditions in the watershed and share the Forest Service’s initial, preliminary ideas for actions.

Resource specialists in hydrology, wildlife, recreation, fire and fuels, and forest vegetation will be available to meet one-on-one and answer questions.
