Man Wounded In Shooting At Mingles Lounge

At 2:29 am Saturday morning the Gillette Police Department responded to Mingles Lounge for a report of shots fired. Sgt. Dean Welch said a 51-year-old male with a local address was shot in the leg. A report of males matching the description of suspects was made from the Fairfield Inn. Police surrounded and evacuated the building. A 23-year-old male was arrested after he allegedly jumped out a third story window and was apprehended after a foot pursuit. Welch said a 30-year-old male was also arrested for his involvement.

The investigation is still active and multiple charges are pending. Welch said as of early Saturday morning it is believed the 23-year-old left Mingles after a dispute and returned with a 9mm handgun and opened fire in the parking lot, but he noted the investigation continues.
