The lockdown at Sage Valley Junior High School is over

One suspect is in custody.The Gillette Police Department says that there were no injuries and there were no acts of violence. The police will continue to investigate the situation. More information will be made available during regular media briefings.
From Sage Valley Principal Terry Quinn:
“Based upon the information from investigation, the building lockdown has been lifted at this time. Weapons have been confiscated and an arrest has been made. Parents wishing to pick up their students may come to Sage Valley Junior High front office. I ask for your patience as we must account for all students who are released to parents.”
