Local Restaurant Damaged By Fire Last Night

Press Release – The Campbell County Fire Department responded to the following incidents:

December 04, 2018 

At 5:27 a.m. to Highway 51 of an emergency medical response. Fire department personnel provided patient care.

At 6:17 a.m. to mile marker 26 on Highway 50 for a motor vehicle accident. When fire department personnel arrived on scene, they found a two-vehicle head on collision with minor injuries. Fire crew stabilized the vehicles and applied floor dry to vehicle fluids.

At 1:57 p.m. to 14 Nathan Hale Road for a structure fire.  No one was injured in the incident and the cause of the fire is under investigation.  Upon arrival, firefighters found the heavy fire and smoke coming from the home.  The home sustained major damage from fire.  13 firefighters and 1 command officer responded to the scene.  Firefighters remained on scene for approximately four hours cooling hot spots.

15:54 p.m. to Boxelder Road for an emergency medical response. Firefighters on scene provided patient care.

At 8:03 p.m. to 408 West Juniper Lane for a structure fire. No one was injured in the incident and the cause of the fire was determined to be electrical in nature.  Upon arrival, firefighters found a small fire burning on the outside of the building and light smoke inside.  The building sustained minor damage from fire.  15 firefighters and 2 command officers responded to the scene.

Year to date the Campbell County Fire Department has responded to 2,002 requests for service.
