No Commissioner from Today’s Interviews

Written by on December 5, 2018

Today the Campbell County Board of Commissioners did not come to a majority vote in favor of a new commissioner. The three candidates Jeff Raney, Troy McEwan and Elgin Faber were given time to introduce themselves and answer questions from the commissioners. After about a three hour process a vote in favor of Elgin Faber was called for, but that vote resulted in a two to two tie with commissioners Micky Shober and Matt Avery not supporting Faber. Neither Jeff Rainey or Troy McEwen receiving a motion for a vote. The decision on the next Campbell County Commissioner who will fill the vacancy left by Clark Kissack can be expected in the next 20 days according to chairman Mark Christensen. The decision will now go to a District Court judge.
