Gillette College gears up for Commencement May 10

Gillette College students who have completed a degree or certificate will take part in Commencement activities on Thursday, May 9 and Friday, May 10, 2019. All Commencement events will be held at the Pronghorn Center on the Gillette College campus and admission is free.

The Nursing program will hold a pinning ceremony at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, and the full Commencement ceremony will take place at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 10.

Susan Thomas, founder of The Craig and Susan Thomas Foundation, will deliver the keynote address during Commencement. A Student Success Celebration will follow the ceremony at the High Plains Grill/Inspiration Hall on campus.

“We invite students’ families and friends to campus to celebrate their hard work and commitment to higher education,” said Northern Wyoming Community College District President Dr. Paul Young. “We are extremely proud of all they have accomplished and look forward to a special day.”
