CAMPBELL COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY PRESENTS – ‘Advances in Medicine Highlights Because of War.’

Tuesday, May 28, 7 pm at the Campbell County Rockpile Museum, Dr. Maggie McCreery–McCoy will present information regarding Advances in Medicine Highlights Because of War. Born and raised in the Gillette area, she attended one room school houses, and then Maggie went on to attend Creighton University and the New Mexico School of Medicine.
Topics such as the hospitals from Roman to the Korean conflict, the Corpsmen from Roman era to Iraq, Ambulances, blood transfusions, surgery and the role of the nurses during war. This should be an information packed program which we can all relate to.
