Written by on August 30, 2019

One of the highlights of the planned expansion to the Energy Capital Sports Complex, which the Gillette City Council recently approved for bidding, is the ADA compliant playground. In 2010, the U.S Department of Justice revised the American Disabilities Act with updated standards for making playgrounds handicap accessible.

Geno Palazarri, the city’s communications manager recently talked about how the new playground will be different from others around the city…

Palazarri addressed the concerns of those who have said the city is spending money is doesn’t have…

The economy slowed says Palazzari and the funds were held in reserve. Now with the economy having improved those funds can now be drawn upon for their intended purpose.
