Power In Gillette Quickly Restored After Brief Outage Wednesday

The cause of yesterday’s power outage is being investigated. An unconfirmed report suggested it might have caused by a vehicle running into a transformer. Around 10 of 6 Wednesday evening power went down on the north side of town, Westover and the area around Campbell County Health. Whatever caused the outtage, quick work by City power crews had everyone back up and running by around 6:30.
