Thunder Basin Ladies Get a Dominating Win Over Rapid City Central at Sacred Hoops High School Classic

The Thunder Basin ladies returned to Gillette with a 54 to 38 win over Rapid City Central in the Sacred Hoops High School Classic at Rapid City Christian School.
The game was close at the half, with the Bolts holding a 24 to 21 lead. However, Thunder Basin took care of business in the second half outscoring Rapid City Central 30-17. The Bolts had a tie for the highest scorer, with Laney McCarty and Joelie Spelts putting in 18 points each.
The Bolts go to 5-5 in overall play, with conference games beginning next weekend. The Bolts will start on the road Friday night against Natrona County at 6. They will have their first home conference game Saturday afternoon against Sheridan at 3:30.
