Thunder Basin and Campbell County Basketball had a busy weekend as they returned to 4A Northeast play with matchups against Sheridan and Natrona County. The final game of the 2022-2023 regular season will be on Thursday night, as the Camels and Bolts will meet again at Campbell County High School this time.

Campbell County and Thunder Basin Basketball are down to their final three regular season games. Thunder Basin and Campbell County Wrestling finished the 2023 regular season with a dual against Sheridan last week. The 4A Regional Tournament will begin on Friday, February 16th.

Thunder Basin and Campbell County Indoor Track & Field stayed home over the weekend to compete in the Broncs Invitational at the Campbell County Recreation Center. Sheridan hosted the invitational.  

Campbell County will have six swimmers looking to go home with a state title this weekend at the State Meet, which will be held at the Campbell County Aquatics Center this weekend. CJ Gaskins, David Fenderson, Eric Granat, and Garrett Shinkle qualified for swimming events, and Bradyn Hansen and Carmine Newman qualified in diving.

Thunder Basin and Campbell County Basketball traveled to Cheyenne last weekend to go up against Cheyenne East and Cheyenne Central. These were the final non-quadrant games of the regular season for all four teams as well.

Campbell County and Thunder Basin Wrestling traveled to Cheyenne over the weekend to participate in duals against Laramie, Cheyenne South, Cheyenne Central, and Cheyenne East. Campbell County also participated in a dual against Douglas on Tuesday.

Campbell County and Thunder Basin Boys Swimming have a ton of swimmers that have already qualified for states next weekend. A handful of Bolts and Camels are looking to qualify for more state events at the Last Chance Meet, which will be at the Campbell County Aquatics Center this weekend.

Thunder Basin hosted the annual Basin Nation Invite over the weekend at the Campbell County Recreational Center. Along with Campbell County and Thunder Basin, 21 schools around Wyoming came to Gillette to participate in the invitational.
