Press Release – Purple is the color! If you happen to be at the CAM-PLEX East or Central Pavilion you will see lots of people (and dogs) sporting the color purple. People from all over the United States AND Canada have arrived in Gillette, Wyoming, to compete in the 2018 North American Dog Agility Championships. They have traveled from as far as New York to as close as Buffalo, Wyoming to take their shot at the big purple ribbon! This year’s championship is the largest EVER with a total of 336 dogs  competing. You could also call this event the NADAC World Competition as they are having a joint event with Australia. The courses are built to an exact grid with each obstacle measured and placed in exact coordinates with the posted map. NADAC has had interest from other countries who are working on getting programs started but are unable to travel to the US with their pups to compete. They will be crowning a NADAC World Champion in each of the divisions!

The Pre Championships kicked off Tuesday morning and the Championships are set to begin first thing Thursday morning. The public is invited to come watch the dogs compete (for free), but be careful, you just may get hooked! If you come out, be sure to wander over to Central Pavilion to check out the vendors. Vendors include: Animal Bodyworx, Endurapet, Crazy Mountain Animal Chiropractic, Rogue Pet Feed, Yellowstone Dog Sports, Great Dane Photos, Agility Videos 4 You, Just Meats Dog Treats, William McGovern Boy Scouts, K9 Kitchen, Mountain Dog Fleece, Paws and Stitches custom embroidery, ET Fabrications LLC, Herding Rescue Dogs of WY.
