Back in Septemeber, reports surfaced claiming that Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin had tied the knot in a New York courthouse. Speculation first arose when the couple was spotted outside the courthouse supposedly obtaining a marriage license, and People later confirmed that the couple had officially become man and wife. Shortly after the report came out, Hailey took to her twitter account to clear up the matter posting, “I understand where the speculation is coming from, but I’m not married yet!”

According to TMZPeople had all the facts from the start. Bieber and Baldwin are said to have actually married at the New York courthouse. Present at the ceremony was a preacher named Jeffery Quinn who works as a faculty member at a faith-based institution located near the courthouse. To act as a witness to the union was Justin’s friend and church-mate, Josh Mehl.

The couple was also rumored to be negotiating a prenuptial agreement. They are said to have reached out to their lawyers on the day of their wedding but it was unlikely that an agreement was to be acquired on the same day, and the marriage occurred without one in place. Now it seems the couple will now have to sign a postnuptial agreement which is similar to a prenuptial agreement, the main difference being that it is signed after marriage.
