No Firearm Harm

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department reports there was no harm done regarding an accidental firearm discharge in Rawlins during a hunter education safety class Monday evening. The instructors were preparing firearms for the hands-on segment which was being held at the Department of Corrections Training Facility.

A proper review is being conducting and if needed appropriate action will be taken upon completion. Hunter Education Coordinator George Oberstadt assures the public that there are strict protocols for firearm handling in class to safeguard against incidents.
